Genre Bashing Feb 15th

(also there's $4.50 bottles of coopers till 11, aye nothing too special, but better than nothing, and good to have)
Ok i'm well excited about this one. It'll be a nice journey through some sick genres. And it'll be mad cause we're actually dedicating the night to those genres too. I must say i'm getting really tired to nights proclaiming to play all these genres and maybe pulling like 1 or 2 songs that we've all heard a million times. I'm not saying that every night is like that, and i'm not saying that those nights i've been to have been bad, i'm just saying. The one exception is that i've been calling the sorta electro ghetto bounce house music i've been posting here and playing a lot, nu-rave, and it's not exactly new rave. I did think it was though when the flyer got done. But yeh, Nu-Rave is really more rocky, and heavy than the stuff i've been playing. And hell the Klaxons are associated with it, i only thought the remixes of them were. Justice i would prolly call nurave though as well, so it's kinda still a meshed genre in my mind, and still a good one. But i'll be playing something on a more dancy switchy crookersy kinda vibe, ya dig?
Apart from that, it's as the flyer says. Deltoid's on 8-10 (8-9 will be a hip hop warm up). I'll be playing 10-12, that should be easily noticeable. D.L.I will be on 12-close (i'm assuming about 2). Yall know the low down on me and deltoid. Dunno how much i've said about D.L.I in the past, have i plugged him enuf? Anyway he's a local Melbourne Dubstep producer, and a mad one at that. Go and check his beats at his myspace. He'll drop some of his own productions, plus a fine selection of others.
Anyway i expect the night to be pretty big, the music will certainly be off chops. I figure what i'll do is post an MP3 for every genre to get your blood rushing. Now i'm not really going for originality of track selection in these posts, i'm more going for a track that represents the genre pretty well, a classic defining track, so i'm sorry if you've had to look at a link like this 100 times before, anyway, enjoy, and come along to the night if you're from Melbs.
Ghetto Tech

Baile Funk
- what i'm actually gonna do for this is post a lil sample life thing. Sample Life is just a segment of the Sine Language Radio show on syn where we find a track and then give you the sample from whence it came, nothing too special or ground breaking, but still fun none the less. So this is cut up versions and full version all into one lil miny mix of the most classic (or most recognisable to the general populous) sample to Baile Funk, usually when i use these songs to explain what the genre is, people go "ahhhh":
Kuduro
Bmore
Nu-Rave/Ghetto Electro Bounce House (i'm so only gonna use that term for the next week alright!)
